The management of recycled materials is a fundamental element of our company's environmental policy and production process. As a company specialized in plastic injection molding, we are committed to reducing waste, optimizing the use of resources and recovering, whenever technically possible, materials generated from production waste.
Plastic material generated during the production process is managed through organized procedures that allow each type of material to be properly separated, identified, collected and allocated. The objective is to promote the recovery and recycling of waste, minimizing the amount of material destined for disposal.
During the various stages of the molding process, production waste, sprues, non-conforming parts, start-up waste and other plastic residues may be generated. These materials are collected separately and classified according to their nature and technical characteristics.
When the material characteristics allow it, production waste is sent for a process of recovery and grinding. The material is suitably processed to obtain plastic granules or regrind that can be reintroduced into the production cycle according to defined technical specifications.
Recovered material is stored in dedicated, clearly identified containers or areas to ensure proper management and internal traceability.
The percentage of recycled material that can be used in the process is determined according to the type of product, customer requirements and applicable technical specifications. For particularly sensitive applications, recycled material is used only when compatible with the product specifications and applicable quality standards.
Material recovery must not compromise the quality of the finished product. For this reason, recycled material is subject to checks and assessments according to its intended use.
Where necessary, management procedures include verifying the correct identification of the material, storage conditions and compatibility with virgin material or other raw materials used in the process.
Recovered material is therefore used according to defined criteria and under the supervision of the personnel responsible for production and quality control.
